The race starts at 6:00 a.m. with the swim in Lake Millstatt. The start is spectacular, with a jump from a boat (A). The swim course covers a distance of 2.0 kilometers. The finish is at the Millstatt beach area near the town center (B), illuminated by strong floodlights, making it visible from the start point. The area around the beach also serves as the transition zone.
Due to the water temperature at the end of September, cool conditions are expected, so wetsuits will be mandatory (details provided in the race briefing). The lake offers clear water, and the swim is supported by volunteers on SUPs and boats.
Dear triathlon enthusiasts,
For organizational reasons, there will unfortunately be no Granat Xtreme Triathlon in 2026. We are still working hard to make the event happen as planned. Our ultimate goal is to create an event that will be memorable, run smoothly, and, above all, meet all safety requirements. We hope that this will be the case in 2027!
