The half-distance bike course of the Granat Xtreme Triathlon takes athletes from the transition area at Lake Millstatt (A) through the Mölltal Valley toward the Hohe Tauern National Park. After approximately 40 km, the half-distance athletes turn toward the Mölltaler Glacier and begin the climb to the valley station at 1,223 meters above sea level (B). From there, the route follows the same course back to Millstatt, returning to the same transition area used after the swim (C).

The total distance covers 102 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 1,760 meters. The terrain consists of well-paved roads. Several aid stations are set up along the bike course, offering drinks and energy-rich food. Due to the alpine altitude, weather conditions can vary greatly, so athletes must be prepared for temperature fluctuations and sudden changes in weather (details provided in the race briefing).
